Hey, I’m Shane Allen and I’m  a New York-based video editor, filmmaker and founder of Populist Magazine and Glass Earth.

I love documenting art and culture as much as possible. Whether it’s shooting documentaries or artist profiles or photographs or interviews or covering events or reminiscing about the past or writing about things I enjoy and that have influenced my life or documenting ephemeral art in the city I live in or capturing the moments I share with the people I love and cherish so I can hold onto memories I will inevitably forget in a world I will almost certainly not be in one day. Stretching time and seizing moments around every corner.

Here is an cool article/interview written about me by the good people at Frank151.”

I’m aware and apoligize that my hair is a little out of control sometimes.
